I've created a version of the necklace worn by the Doctor, that is made of recycled sterling silver with rich yellow gold plate. For those of you wanting a screen-accurate copy made by the creator of the original. The gold plate is slightly richer on colour than on the solid gold pendant.

As every set is hand-finished, no two will be exactly alike, but I make each one as close to the original as possible!
 
The Necklace
 
The top pendant setting is cast from an original I made and had moulded. It is made in recycled sterling silver and the stone is hand-set. The lower pendant is cast in recycled sterling silver. Both pendants are plated in 23.7ct yellow gold. They are plated in 2 micron thick gold plating. This is 4 times thicker than standard gold plate
 
Carnelian is the stone I chose for the Doctor's necklace. It is an orange/brown translucent stone and varies in colour depth. As it is a natural product, please expect some variation in colour, as well in curvature of the stone.
 
The double silver bead chains are oxidised and scrubbed back, and fasten with a trigger clasp. They come in two length options; 18 and 22" (as worn by the Doctor) and 20 and 24". Please see image of Matthew (actual neck measurment 13.75") wearing the chains for reference. If you require a different size, please contact me as I will do my best to help.
 
Gold plate can last for years with appropriate care, please follow the care instructions included with your order.
 
 
Each necklace is tested for metal purity before being hallmarked at London Assay Office.
