This ring is made from sheet, cut into circles and domed before soldering together.  I've set a glowing blood-red recycled garnet into it, with a heavily textured finish.
 
It's an extremely light and comfortable ring, and very unusual! I've oxidised the silver before giving it a satin finish. 
 
Garnet is January's birthstone and is said to boost love, life force & relationships. 
 
Sterling silver, hallmarked at London Assay Office to prove it is made of silver.
